Local Strategies Group was founded in 2021 and is owned and operated by Gary Masino, Jr. With over a decade of experience working on political campaigns, Gary began LS because he saw a need for data-driven, cost-effective, high-performance services for political campaigns in the region.
Gary has extensive experience, and contrary to popular opinion, he doesn’t believe that consultants are always right or that they know it all. He will leverage the knowledge you provide and combine it with his experience to develop and execute a multi-faceted campaign that aligns with your values and goals.
With Local Strategies, your campaign’s needs will be our top priority. We will work closely with your team to identify your goals and create a comprehensive plan that suits your needs.
Running for office can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be. Local Strategies will be with you and your campaign every step of the way, from the early planning stages through Election Day

Meet Gary
Gary Masino, Jr. founded Local Strategies in 2021 after a decade of political campaigns in some of the largest races in Pennsylvania.
As the former Political Director for the Bucks County Democratic Committee, Gary joined as their Organizing Director in 2017, helping elect 4 Democrats to county row seats. In 2019, Gary supported the historic campaign in which Democrats became the majority for the first time in 40 years, electing Commissioners Diane Marseglia and Bob Harvie. In 2021, he consulted on historic victories with Pennridge school board and Hilltown Township, and helped win a majority in Tinicum Township. As Political Director, he has worked with over 50 candidates running for office from school board director to state house cycle after cycle.
Gary’s previous campaigns include field and fundraising services for John Sabatina, Jr. for State Senate, Matt Darragh for State House, Jimmy Dillon for State Senator, Rue Landau for Philadelphia City Council, and more. He has continued to fundraise and advise for various elected officials including, State Representative Pat Gallagher, State Representative Jim Prokopiak, State Representative Danilo Burgos, State Representative Perry Warren, and others.
Gary grew up in Northeast Philadelphia in a union household. Like his father before him, he is a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 19. He lives in Bristol, Pennsylvania with his wife Jocelyn Masino and their daughter Maddie.
